Notable Changes from the Previous Year

The 2024 lineup brings the new Suna trim with Zircon Sand metallic exterior painting. Fuel economy has also been improved for the 2.5-litre models. The Kuro trim has a new exterior colour available (rhodium white metallic), and the GX trim comes equipped with i-Stop technology.

While the Skyactiv-G 2.5-litre engine is standard, there are some variations available depending on the trim. The Kuro and GT trims include cylinder deactivation and i-Stop technology, while the Sport Design and higher trims come with a Dynamic Pressure Turbo (DPT) feature. All models are equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission. Regarding fuel consumption, the standard engine ratings are 10.2 L / 100 km in the city and 8.2 L / 100 km on highways, while higher trims will enjoy 9.1 L / 100 km in the city and 7.7 L / 100 km on highways.

The entry-level model comes with cloth upholstery, while the higher trims can enjoy leatherette, garnet red leather, and black leather. Heated front seats are available across the lineup, along with illuminated entry, day/night rearview mirror, and steering-wheel-mounted controls. The GS trim and higher enjoy leather-wrapped steering wheels and automatic dual climate control systems. 

The exterior mirrors are heated and body-coloured for all trims. Rear roof spoilers and door handles are also body-coloured. There are LED lights on headlamps and plate lamps. The Kuro trim has a signature wing grille surround and brilliant black exterior mirrors. Piano black front grilles are standard for Sport Design and Suna trims. You can tell the flagship model by the Signature badge on the liftgate. 

Technology and Safety Features

All models come with a standard 10.25-inch touchscreen display equipped with the Mazda Connect Infotainment System. Other standard features include mobile compatibility, Mazda-connected services, and an HMI Commander switch. There’s a HomeLink wireless control system available for the GT and Signature trims. All of the models come with plenty of safety features and driving assistants, including advanced blindspot monitoring, pedestrian detection, rear-cross traffic monitoring, forward obstruction warning, and the Smart City Brake Support Front system.
